WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK:
When I was introduced to, and began studying for myself these concepts (as a father with then 3 - now four - children), I became extremely frustrated because at that time I had no idea that there was so much that I didn’t know. This probably sounds obvious, but I was upset because without somebody telling me that I didn't know what I didn't know, I would have never been able to financially prepare properly for my present and future life... How was I supposed to find out on my own?
School certainly didn’t teach me, nor did any of my college or graduate school classes. This realization quickly turned out to be a moment that would change my professional (and lifetime) goals because at that moment I realized just how many good people were living their lives trying to do what they believed was best for their families and desperately needing this information too...
I know very well what it feels like to be going through the motions and trying to survive from month to month, all the while not realizing that even though it looked like I was always going places, the only place I was headed was in circles.
Ironically it was a parent of one of my students who ended up shining the light for me on this important information, about which, and regardless of how many classrooms I sat in as a student, I was still completely in the dark...
Even though I seemed to always be 'on the go' working to survive financially, it turned out that I didn't know to where it was exactly that I was even trying to go? And like so many others trying to do what is best for their financial futures, even if we know what we want our end goal to be, how are we supposed to arrive there if we haven't been shown the correct pathway to get us there?
I started finding ways to share my newfound information on how to navigate the confusing pathway to achieving goals and dreams (many of which seem to have financial components to them). I was looking to bring hope to people who were, like I had been, wandering through life trying to get ahead and never feeling like they ever arrive.
It was at that point that I began obtaining the necessary licenses to help people put into action the strategies that will speed up the process of reaching their financial goals. I also began creating this project in my head because I knew that I would be able to help many more people through writing than I would ever be able to reach in person. Little did I know that it would take A LOT more time and effort than I had ever expected. However, I never let the 'crazy' that life throws at all of us, detour me from what I believed would bring the same financial hope to other peoples' lives that my student's father gave to me and my family. And here it is... I hope that this information will help you as much as it has helped me... Now one last thing!
